The spacious family suites offer space for 2 to 6 people and are equipped with everything families need - from baby cribs and high chairs to buggies and back carriers. Certain suites in the Hotel Berghof offer a special highlight: their own sauna directly in the suite. The perfect combination of family vacation and private wellness enjoyment - in the middle of the Austrian mountains.

Space for teenagers

For teenagers, the gaming room offers table tennis, table soccer, air field hockey and the Fun4Four multigame table. Here they can be among themselves, chill out and have fun.

The Hotel Berghof offers a variety of exciting adventures and activities for children. The heated Outdoor pool with water slide and the baby pool guarantee water fun in summer, while the Indoor pool remains a highlight all year round. There is a large adventure playground directly opposite the hotel during the summer months. And in winter, the Snow Space Salzburg family ski area is right on the hotel doorstep.

Kids' club including childcare

Children aged 3 and over are lovingly looked after in the children's club and can look forward to a varied vacation program (opening times from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and 03:00 p.m. to 08:30 p.m.). While the little ones are well cared for, parents can enjoy relaxing hours in the Berghof Wellness & Spa or explore the picturesque nature of the mountains of Salzburg.

HOLIDAY program

In summer there is a varied holiday program for children and special children's weeks in the region provide fun and excitement in summer and winter (offered by the St. Johann in Salzburg Tourist Board, participation in the external programs is free of charge for our guests).

Babysitter-Service

Is your child still too young for the children's club or would you like to spend time alone with your partner outside of the childcare times? We are happy to organize a babysitting service for you on request (for a fee). Please contact the hotel reception.

Guests of the Hotel Berghof also enjoy attractive discounts for children and numerous direct booking benefits. Discounts for children in their parents' room (with two full-paying adults - discount on the adult price)

Summer and Winter:
Children up to 2 years	100 % reduction
Children 3 to 6 years	70 % reduction
Children 7 to 10 years	50 % reduction
Children 11 to 15 years	30 % reduction

If the children are accommodated in their own room, we grant a 20% discount on the adult rate.

If there are two full-paying adults in the room, additional persons aged 16 and over receive a 20% discount on the adult rate (except Berghof Suite Premium and Family Suite Premium, where the discount is not applicable).

Cots and extra beds are available on request.

The Geisterberg in St. Johann Alpendorf is the perfect excursion destination for families in Salzburger Land. The cable car takes you up to the Gernkogel - the valley station is directly opposite the Hotel Berghof.

A unique world of play along hiking trails suitable for baby carriages awaits visitors of all ages. Adventures with fire, air, water and earth ghosts at over 40 playing stations turn hiking into an experience. Highlights such as the Ghost Mountain Castle, the Ghost Village and water games provide plenty of variety.
