Boundless winter fun in Sankt Johann - Alpendorf

Right opposite to the Wellness Hotel Berghof is the base terminal of the mountain railway which takes you up into the vast ski-area of Gern-, Sonntags- and Hirschkogel. The slopes can take you literally back to the doorstep, which is very convenient for our guests. A variety of downhill runs and an illuminated toboggan run leads down into the resort.

 

Sankt Johann is known as the first step into Salzburg "Sports World" in the midst of Austria's largest ski area, the "Ski amadé". Ski amadé puts 5 top skiing regions in Salzburg and Styria onto one card. A single ski pass is valid for 270 lifts, gondola and chairlifts, more than 860 km of excellent ski pistes in the regions Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming – Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig’s Winterreich and the Großarltal.
